De Lijn is the public transport company of buses and trams in Flanders. There are some busses of De Lijn that drive up to the North and South train station in Brussels and along the 'kleine ring' bordering the city center of Brussels.
If you are younger than 24 years or just 24 and you regularly take the bus or tram of De Lijn, you can benefit from the Buzzy Pazz. This season ticket entitles you to unlimited travel with the public transport of De Lijn all around Flanders. The period of validity is 1, 3 or 12 months. More than 1 Buzzy Pazz in 1 family entitles you or other family members to an additional reduction of the price.
In case you are older than 24 years and you regularly take the public transport of De Lijn, the Omnipas is the cheapest option. This season ticket has got the same advantages as the Buzzy Pazz so you can travel unlimited during a whole year with the bus or tram of De Lijn.
If you take the public transport of De Lijn only once in a while, then you are better off with an ordinary ticket or a card with 10 single journeys.
More info can be found on the website of De Lijn.
STUVO+ gives all students a 35% discount on a Buzzy Pazz or Omnipas valid for 12 months.
The discount of 35% of the total price for a Buzzy Pazz or Omnipas of De Lijn will be deducted automatically by means of an attestation. You will receive this document from Student Administrative Services as soon as your registration is finalized. It is, therefore, very important to take this attestation with you when going to a De Lijn store to buy or renew your season ticket of De Lijn. The 35% discount will be automatically deducted from the total price in the store(s) of De Lijn. If you do not have this attestation, check with Student Administrative Services where you can download the document.
Note! If you have already bought or renewed your Buzzy Pazz or Omnipas without the attestation, a refund is not possible anymore.
A discount is not possible if you buy a combined season ticket (NMBS/SNCB and De Lijn) nor if you have a family discount.
The STUVO+ discount does not count on top of the discount from your commune
