Social Services

All international students can come to our office for practical questions related to your stay as a student in Brussels, e.g. registration at city hall, how to open a bank account in Belgium, health insurance, work permit, ... Also for questions of a legal or financial nature, e.g. payment of the tuition fee in installments, study grant of the Flemish Government, reduction of the tuition fee, ... the Social Services' office can help you.

We would like to point out, however, that you must have sufficient financial means to cover your study and living costs for the whole period of your stay in Brussels. We can offer limited financial help for students who fulfill specific conditions or for students who experience a temporary and unforeseen financial difficulty.

You can find our office in T'Serclaes building, 1st floor, A-side

Opening hours:
Monday until Thursday from 9am - 12am and from 12.30pm - 3pm. Friday only by appointment.

Do not hesitate to drop by during opening hours or to make an appointment by sending an e-mail.
